The Laboratory Analyst I will work closely with the Lab Manager to ensure all samples are received, extracted, analyzed, and reported in compliance with company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and analyze samples on a daily basis
  • Prepare solutions and track inventory
  • Maintain equipment logs and perform routine maintenance
  • Perform extractions and prepare samples for analysis using LC/MS, GC/MS, and ICP/MS
  • Enter data into the laboratory information management system
  • Understand and follow all necessary standard operating procedures
  • Produce high-quality work with minimal errors
  • Ensure errors are resolved before results are released to clients
  • Continuously seek out new and better ideas to drive best practices
  • Ensure samples are received, requisitioned, and extracted in compliance with SOPs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or one year of experience in a high-complexity laboratory
  • High school diploma with at least two years of experience in a high-complexity laboratory
  • Some experience in a high-complexity laboratory preferred
  • Experience with LC/MS, GC/MS, and ICP/MS
