Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled electronics assemblers/technicians with mechanical aptitude to construct and maintain components of our instrumentation systems. This is a full-time role. As a technician at Mesotech, you will receive comprehensive training in electro-mechanical assembly, system integration, and troubleshooting techniques. You will gain valuable experience in production, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and comprehend assembly drawings, bills of materials, and assembly guidelines.
- Assemble, repair, and evaluate meteorological instrumentation systems and their components.
- Utilize hand tools to construct electronic enclosures, including cable assemblies and circuit boards.
- Conduct circuit board testing and modifications.
- Engage in various electronic, electrical, and mechanical assembly tasks related to the production and repair of meteorological measurement systems.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Fundamental electronics education or equivalent experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools and electronic assembly equipment (screwdrivers, wire strippers, soldering irons, etc.).
- Successful completion of a thorough background check by the US Department of Defense.
- This position necessitates access to ITAR restricted information (must be a US Person).
- Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related discipline.
Mesotech offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. The compensation range for this position is $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Mesotech is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
