Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Teledyne. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect all levels of assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Build assemblies using small hand tools, microscopes, and other measuring equipment
  • Ensure production flow meets weekly schedule requirements
  • Perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods
Requirements
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
  • Experience with small parts, small hand tools, and microscopes
  • Prior blueprint and procedures reading experience
  • Attentiveness to details with strong desire for precision and accuracy
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to lift 5 to 20 lbs
Preferred Skills
  • Tig welding and Bell Jar brazing experience
  • Clean room experience and knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control)
  • Ability or prior experience of reading Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
