Key Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Diagnosing issues and executing repairs on card access systems, CCTV, burglar alarms, electronic fire alarm systems, and other related building system products at client locations.
  • Performing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients and staff to ensure satisfaction.
  • Completing Service Acknowledgements accurately through mobile devices and laptops.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of documented experience with card access and CCTV systems.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
  • Experience in installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV systems.
  • Fire alarm experience is advantageous.
  • The physical capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • The ability to work in various positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required.
  • Capability to maintain truck inventory for prompt response to customer requests.
  • Retention of necessary licenses as mandated by National, State, and Local regulations.
  • NICET III certification in Special Hazard Systems or Level III in Fire Alarm is preferred.
