Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Veterinary Technicians to enhance our dynamic Emergency and Critical Care department. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a fast-paced environment while utilizing your extensive training and expertise.

Sign-On Bonus: We are pleased to offer a Sign-On Bonus of up to $5,000 for qualified candidates.

Compensation: Candidates with VTS credentialing will receive compensation reflective of their experience.

  • Our internal medicine service includes cutting-edge endoscopy, ultrasound, and comprehensive radiographic diagnostic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, utilizing advanced anesthesia and monitoring equipment.
  • Triage emergency cases upon arrival, including the collection of vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
  • Perform digital radiography with precision, ensuring proper patient positioning.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of normal vital sign ranges, including heart and respiratory rates, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Identify patients at risk for cardiac arrest and initiate CPR as necessary.
  • Accurately calculate medical dosages and administer medications through appropriate routes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and the placement of intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
  • Foster a culture of mentorship and training among colleagues.
