About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality nursing care and services to our youth and adolescent clients.

Estimated Salary: $64,800 per year (based on 40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Nursing Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify the physical and behavioral/emotional health needs of our clients.
  2. Medication Management: Order and dispense medications as needed, ensuring timely authorization and communication with consulting psychiatrists.
  3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records and report critical values to healthcare providers.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with staff, medical directors/providers, and clients to ensure seamless care coordination.
  5. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • RN licensure in New York State.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably working with youth and adolescents.
