Job Summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography
  • Conduct cardiac ultrasound testing for patients with various cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient testing and results
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment
  • BCLS (Adult) certification
  • Preferred: ACLS (Adult) certification
