Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography
- Conduct cardiac ultrasound testing for patients with various cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient testing and results
- Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment
- BCLS (Adult) certification
- Preferred: ACLS (Adult) certification
