Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Member Specialist to enhance our operations. This role involves delivering logistics and customer service to our members. Although our facilities may resemble a warehouse, this position provides the opportunity to support genuine small business owners. Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses various day-to-day operational tasks and participation in our Elastic Workforce (eForce). The eForce supports members with diverse tasks that may differ by member, industry, and season. Responsibilities include:
  • Engaging with Saltbox members, assisting with problem-solving, and providing logistical support
  • Monitoring the delivery dock and greeting delivery vehicles
  • Processing, packaging, and shipping orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Tracking and documenting shipment arrival and departure times
  • Ensuring the facility operates smoothly, maintaining efficiency in the warehouse, kitchen, and office areas
Qualifications
  • Personable and approachable, with strong collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to locate and handle merchandise according to member-specific tasks
  • Physical strength and stamina, capable of moving items and operating necessary machinery (training provided)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Retail and warehouse experience is a plus
Compensation
This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16 to $17.50, adjusted according to geographic cost of living. We value your skills and experience and look forward to your contribution to our team.
