Job Overview

SCI Hotels LLC is on the lookout for a skilled Event Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality sector.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide professional assistance to all guests, ensuring a courteous experience.

2. Execute job responsibilities efficiently while adhering to budgetary constraints.

3. Collaborate with guests to organize event functions, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication.

4. Oversee event setup and scheduling, anticipating needs based on forecasts and event orders.

5. Ensure accurate billing and documentation of events, including timely reporting of staff labor and gratuities.

6. Manage inventories, purchasing, and asset control in line with established policies.

7. Conduct regular inspections of event facilities to uphold service and quality standards, coordinating repairs as necessary.

8. Maintain open communication with the management team and actively participate in meetings.

9. Engage with event staff through daily briefings and regular updates.

10. Recruit and select qualified candidates, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support.

11. Clearly communicate performance expectations and enforce company policies consistently.

12. Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations and performance management issues.

13. Foster a professional work environment, promoting respect and appropriate conduct.

14. Adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.

15. Keep supervisors informed of significant issues or concerns for prompt resolution.

16. Perform additional duties as assigned.
