Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is $74,332, based on the starting pay range of $71,822 - $77,792. Ozaukee County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team. As a Public Health Nurse – Maternal Child Health, you will work with women and families to assess their needs, provide education and resources, and connect them with community services. You will also collaborate with WIC staff to improve health outcomes and wellness among at-risk participants.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing care coordination, case management, assessment eligibility, education, counseling, and breastfeeding support to maternal and child health clients.
  2. Collaborating with WIC staff to improve health outcomes and wellness among at-risk participants.
  3. Developing and implementing protocols to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities.
  4. Evaluating health trends and risk factors of population and participating in maternal and child health strategic planning activities.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
  • Preferred experience in public health nursing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with clients and community partners.
