We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Validation Project Engineer (Life Sciences). This role involves taking the lead or contributing significantly to the intricate hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. Key responsibilities include defining architectural requirements, crafting detailed test protocols, software design specifications, functional design specifications, and creating SAT/FAT documentation, all while contributing to the overarching control system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and comprehend project scope, approach, and design.
  • Collaborate with the project team to review documentation and validation requirements.
  • Generate necessary documentation, including design documents and test protocols, for each project.
  • Evaluate documentation produced by fellow engineers.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track the schedule of documentation required for the project.
  • Identify and define out-of-scope items.
  • Engage in customer correspondence.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of required customer procedures and policies.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of customer equipment and systems.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with investigations as needed.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and design documents.
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Develop and maintain a quantitative approach for estimating documentation development hours.
  • Manage project-related duties independently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with engineering/control system documentation, change control, and a general understanding of GAMP is advantageous.
  • A strong foundation in collaboration and teamwork.
