Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safe and Sanitary Design: Implement safe work practices and sanitary design principles in all equipment and facility changes.
  • Provide Advanced Mechanical Engineering Expertise: Offer technical guidance on equipment design, fluid systems, and reliability improvements.
  • Support Daily Manufacturing Operations: Resolve process, quality, and equipment issues to ensure seamless production.
  • Specify and Purchase Equipment: Source and procure equipment for new processes and products.
  • Lead Equipment Installation and Modification: Oversee the installation, modification, and process improvements of equipment.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.
  • Train Teams and Provide Technical Expertise: Share knowledge and skills with colleagues to improve manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering: Possess a degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong Experience in Statistical Process Control: Demonstrate expertise in statistical process control, Lean/Six Sigma, and team leadership.
  • Skilled in 3-D Modeling and Technical Problem-Solving: Showcase proficiency in 3-D modeling and technical problem-solving.
  • Organized and Able to Handle Multiple Projects: Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
