Director, Distribution Operations

At Danone North America, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Distribution Operations to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the Distribution Operations capability for Danone US, inclusive of all strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operating plans with a focus on service, while driving continuous improvement and net productivity into our Logistics operations.
  • Lead day-to-day operations and build a strategic framework, roadmap, and network to support the long-term growth ambitions of Danone North America.
  • Accountable for multiple third-party logistics locations along with all Danone owned/operated warehouse locations.
  • Sit on the Danone US Logistics leadership team.
  • Own all Distribution spend, with responsibility for delivering the warehouse functional components of the rolling forecast cycles.
  • Implement, own, and refine processes, KPI's and scorecards to drive functional accountability and deliver results.
  • Balance cost and service to deliver against Danone's Customer and Consumer expectations.
  • Own Talent Management and development within the function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of related Logistics experience, ideally within the Consumer Products space.
  • Experience in developing and managing interpersonal relationships to influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Experience negotiating change and compromise with multiple levels of stakeholders across Operations.
  • Previous knowledge of Microsoft products, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
