Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for examination and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
- Accurately record patient information, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Support the office coordinator and physician liaison in administrative tasks.
- Travel between assigned clinic locations as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED or Associate degree.
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 codes.
- Experience with medical pre-authorizations.
