Job Summary

Kettering Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications.
  • Interview patients, record information in patient charts, and prepare treatment rooms for examination.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant/LPN program (or equivalent) with current Ohio license.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-year clinical experience in a medical/physician office setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
