About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer II to join our team in support of a new long-term project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IaC solutions for cloud-native services and applications
  • Develop and maintain cloud automation scripts using tools such as Python, DSL, and Chef
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate application-specific components into available cloud services
  • Provide cloud service expertise to cloud-deployed applications and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Work within an Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two- to three-week sprints and participating in daily scrums
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with IaC development for cloud services, experience in AWS, and experience with Infrastructure as Code and Cloud automation
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and CompTIA Security+ or other 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Bachelor's degree and experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework, experience working within a dispersed, remote team, and experience with US Air Force IT Projects
