Position Overview

Texas Oncology is in search of a Senior Certified Medical Assistant to become a vital part of our Medical Oncology Department. This role involves providing essential support and may include travel to nearby facilities.

  • Location: San Antonio, Texas
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with one late shift weekly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care tasks
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow and care delivery
  • Execute clinic support functions
  • Comply with regulatory programs
Required Qualifications:
  • Entry Level: 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate Level: At least three years of experience, with phlebotomy skills preferred
  • Senior Level: Minimum five years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment
Physical Requirements:

This position necessitates a full range of motion, including standing, walking, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:

Potential exposure to various environmental conditions typical in a clinical setting.
