Symbria is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Well-Being Navigator to join our team. As a Well-Being Navigator, you will play a vital role in improving the overall quality of life for our residents by providing education, promoting our Well-Being program, and developing customized fitness programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education to residents and staff on the benefits of Symbria's Well-Being program
- Increase program enrollment by actively promoting Symbria's services
- Act as program liaison to designated client committees
- Develop customized fitness programs for residents based on ACSM guidelines
- Teach standardized group exercise classes and specialty programs
- Work with the Symbria Rehab therapy team to coordinate transitions
- Reassess participants on a semi-annual basis and provide ongoing feedback
- Minimum personal trainer or group instructor certification (ACSM, ACE, or NAFC)
- CPR and first aid certification
- Strong communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficient use of technology, including video conferencing and Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or related field
- Experience in teaching group exercise programs
- Experience working with older adults with demonstrated ability to improve their overall health and well-being
