Job Summary:

The Vice President of Women's Design will be responsible for managing the design creation process for the Women's Collection from concept to finished product. This includes collaborating with our Merchandising team to develop a cohesive collection that meets the needs of our growing Women's business, partnering with the Women's Development team to foster thorough and on-time Design tools and TP's, and creating and supporting styling tools, fabric briefs, concept boards, color palettes, merch guides, and seasonal design documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design creation process for the Women's Collection from concept to finished product.
  • Collaborate with our Merchandising team to develop a cohesive collection that meets the needs of our growing Women's business.
  • Partner with the Women's Development team to foster thorough and on-time Design tools and TP's.
  • Create and support styling tools, fabric briefs, concept boards, color palettes, merch guides, and seasonal design documents.
  • Responsible for managing calendar, deadlines, and data integrity of development and design materials.
  • Collaborative partner to our Product Team on special projects that support Vuori Initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with design and product, as well as with cross-functional partners.
  • Build and lead a high-performance team, providing coaching and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of product design experience is required and product development experience with an understanding of managing product from concept to completion.
  • Performance and Fitness Apparel expert with a strong sense of Lifestyle Fashion and trend in relation to the market.
  • Knowledge of performance materials and manufacturing processes used to build performance products and a deep understanding of technical fabrics.
  • Excellent Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Google/Google docs.
  • 7+ years of experience leading and managing teams.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, motivation, and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional at relationship management and prioritization.
  • Exceptional team leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership; ability to work with and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The salary range for this role is $240,000 per year - $270,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
