Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Engineering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting our IT team members, collaborating with other IT management staff, and developing processes and plans that align with our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to IT team members to help them develop their skills and careers.
  • Collaborate with other IT management staff and business partners to develop processes and plans that align with our strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with different business groups and end-users to understand their needs and ensure that IT solutions and services meet those needs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, both within the IT department and from other parts of the business, to understand their needs and ensure that IT solutions and services meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related field or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology, Customer Service, Accounting or Financial Management or a related field.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Proven experience participating in internal and external audits.
  • Competent knowledge of operating systems, desktop applications, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of, compliance with, and enforcement of SPP Corp Policies and Procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of team leadership experience.
  • Related technical certifications.
  • Experience in vendor relations and vendor management.
  • Development background.
  • Experience in managing technical evaluations of emerging technologies.
Travel Requirement

This position requires moderate travel, approximately 5-15%.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
