LPN Specialist in a Dynamic Clinic Environment

We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Job Summary:
This position involves providing exceptional patient care and support services as part of our dynamic clinic team. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering routine patient care, assisting with patient teaching and discharge planning, and collaborating with registered nurses to ensure seamless care delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-class customer service by being courteous and helpful to all internal and external customers
- Answer questions in a professional and positive manner
- Participate in performance improvement activities to measure and assess the quality of assigned work areas
- Maintain confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Administer CPR as needed according to Basic Life Support (BLS) guidelines
- Calculate and safely administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards and facility policy and protocols
- Assess patients experiencing urgent, emergent, or non-emergent conditions
- Provide age and culturally appropriate, holistic patient care based upon facility mission statements and policies
- Implement interventions appropriate to the age-specific needs of patients

- Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements
- Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability
- Able to read, understand, and apply regulations and policies
- Learn and apply laws that directly confer rights
- Communicate clinical information to patients in emergent or urgent settings
- Maintain clear and complete employee health records
- Medication administration
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
- Diploma of Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred but not required
- 1 year of experience in a related field is highly desirable
Credentials:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must pass internal Medication Test
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
