Job Overview:

The Director of Regulatory Compliance and Quality Programs is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of the Regulatory compliance programs and assisting with the planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing of the Quality program at RWJ New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regulatory compliance programs to ensure adherence to CMS, TJC, NJDOH, and OSHA regulations, standards, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, healthcare providers, and patients.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on regulatory compliance and quality initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a health-related field.
  • Minimum five years of clinical, management, or related experience.
  • Strong ability to organize, manage, coordinate, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be familiar with CMS, TJC, NJDOH, and OSHA regulations, standards, and requirements.
  • A working knowledge of High Reliability Organization principles is highly desirable.
  • CPPS or CPHQ preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years.
  • Previous experience in a related role required.
  • Previous experience managing a team required.
