Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to assist our dentists with a wide range of clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists with clinical procedures, including preparing patients for treatment, taking x-rays, and providing chairside assistance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to ensure accurate and effective care.
- Utilize dental software, including Dentrix, to manage patient records and scheduling.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Partner with our healthcare team to implement efficient office workflows and maximize patient satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required by state dental practice act.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a strong sense of urgency.
- 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
- Dentrix or other dental software experience.
- Dental assisting school certification.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
