Job Overview

Starwood Powersports Gainesville is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Sales Team: Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Finance: Work closely with the Finance Manager to present customers with the best financing options and protect their purchases with extended warranties and insurance plans.
  • Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and implement creative sales strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain Starwood Powersports' position as the top choice for powersports enthusiasts.
  • Foster Team Growth: Recruit, train, and mentor a talented sales team that shares your passion for powersports and encourages their development and success.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure we have the right mix of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and accessories to meet customer demand and drive sales.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all sales processes and documentation meet local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring accuracy and smooth operations for the team.
  • Measure and Celebrate Success: Track team performance, analyze key metrics, and celebrate wins. Use data to fine-tune strategies and keep everyone focused on continual growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager with F&I expertise in a dealership or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of powersports products and the financing process.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative environment while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the automotive or powersports industry.
  • Familiarity with local lenders and financial institutions in Texas.
