Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to perform construction inspections, manhole inspections, data collection, and surveying (GPS) for water and sewage systems or highway and transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various job sites to conduct inspections and collect data
  • Take measurements, photographs, and prepare calculation sheets using a tablet
  • Enter confined-space areas, including manholes, with provided training
  • Work may include overtime and other project-related tasks
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or higher degree
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with supervisors, contractors, residents, and clients
  • Good physical condition and ability to climb steps, bend, and work in various conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • NICET or similar certification a plus
  • GIS experience a plus
  • Ability to work outdoors and drive in all weather conditions
  • Confined-Space Entry Training and Experience Preferred
