About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Relations Lead to join our team at Octo Consulting Group. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with developers, creating engaging content, and driving product adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Journey Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to map and understand the complete user journey for our products, identifying key touchpoints, pain points, and opportunities at each stage.
  • Go-to-Market Alignment: Develop and execute strategies that align with the user journey and product lifecycle, creating go-to-market plans for new features and products that address user needs at different journey stages.
  • Product Adoption Initiatives: Design and implement programs to increase product adoption and user engagement, working with sales and customer success teams to develop materials that address common user challenges and highlight product value.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of technical marketing initiatives across the user journey, analyzing user behavior, feedback, and product usage data to inform marketing strategies and product improvements.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to align product development, marketing, and customer experience efforts, collaborating with UX researchers and designers to incorporate user insights into marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in technical marketing or product marketing in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, user experience principles, and technology trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record in driving product adoption through marketing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in user journey mapping and persona development.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of the AI ecosystem and global developer communities.
  • Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools.
