Job Title: Staff Developer Relations Engineer

Arm is a leading technology company that is building the future of computing. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our growing team as a Staff Developer Relations Engineer.

This role involves working closely with our partner developers to solve technical challenges across our ecosystems. As a Staff Developer Relations Engineer, you will be responsible for learning new Arm technologies, collaborating with internal experts, and engaging with software partners to understand their performance challenges and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand new Arm technologies and tools, and collaborate with internal experts to envision their application with our developer partners.
  • Proactively engage with software partners to understand their performance challenges, goals, and how Arm can provide a solution to improve their product or user's experience.
  • Comfortable in front of partners to perform hands-on development, reproduce partner issues, and engineer proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Work with a wide range of ecosystem partners to present new and existing technologies, exploring deployable solutions or proof-of-concept.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to express ideas and connect with internal teams, external partners, and the wider developer community.
  • Experience with compute performance modeling, profiling, debugging, and code optimization with various compute platforms.
  • Experience with debugging performance problems on Windows or Linux systems.
  • Comfortable interacting with and maintaining relationships with software developers and customers to answer technical questions and resolve issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience working with external developers in a relationship role.
  • Familiarity with the Arm architecture and experience with silicon bring-up.
  • Self-starter with a curiosity for all computing platforms in various domains (e.g. Infrastructure/Cloud, Mobile, Automotive, and IoT).
  • Community contributions and involvement with blogs, posts, and external communications would be a plus.
