Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Ambulatory Housekeeper to join our team at Everett Medical Center in Everett, WA. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors
  • Dust furniture and equipment
  • Polish metalwork
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork
  • Wash windows, door panels, and sills
  • Empties wastebaskets
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies
  • Transports small equipment or tools between departments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
  • Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
  • Medical cleaning a plus
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
