Overview of the Montana Veterans' Home

The Montana Veterans' Home, a Medicare/Medicaid and Veterans' Administration certified facility, offers 105 intermediate/skilled-care beds and 12 domiciliary beds. The nursing facility includes a 15-bed Dementia Care unit, providing comprehensive care to veterans since 1896.

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents at the Montana Veterans' Home. Responsibilities include performing routine assessments, treatments/procedures, administering medications, coordinating care, maintaining records, and providing support to physicians.

  • Perform nursing assessments, treatments/procedures, and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Coordinate care with resident care aides and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive quality care.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident vital signs, treatments, and medications.
  • Provide clear communication to residents, family members, and healthcare team regarding resident care plans and progress.

Requirements and Qualifications
