Job Summary:

A highly skilled Nurse Specialist is sought to provide exceptional patient care and leadership in our Critical Care Unit at Great Falls Clinic Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing world-class care to our patients. As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing established policies and procedures, directing RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other staff members, and collaborating with providers and other healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
- Operate complex medical equipment, including central lines, multiple IVs, and ventilatory support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and mentor staff members on best practices and evidence-based guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-specific policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Current MT RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; EPNC and TNCC preferred
- Recent experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU or CCU setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
