About the Role:
The Client Service Specialist I is responsible for efficiently processing a variety of customer account transactions while maintaining confidentiality. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional banking experience by cultivating relationships and recommending suitable products and services.
- Execute cash handling tasks, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
- Ensure accuracy by balancing the cash drawer and transactions.
- Acquire knowledge of new and existing banking products and services.
- Assess customers' financial needs to identify and suggest appropriate offerings.
- Safeguard funds by ensuring the secure handling of cash and prompt accounting.
- Detect and report any fraudulent activities.
- Comprehend and adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support daily operations to maintain branch integrity, including balancing ATMs and processing returned mail.
- Contribute to branch referral goals by identifying and directing customers to suitable banking products.
- Deliver an extraordinary customer experience consistently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cash handling environment.
- Maintain professionalism at all times.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Successfully complete Client Service Specialist training programs.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Critical thinking skills to provide effective solutions.

Our Benefits:
We offer a competitive total rewards package that includes base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this position is $22.00, with the final rate determined by various non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. Performance-based incentive compensation may also be available.
