The Operations Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of staff within a Department/Division or Service Line. This role encompasses a variety of administrative functions related to Business Operations, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Information Management, Organizational Governance, Patient Care Systems, Quality Management, and Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Fosters departmental objectives by recruiting, motivating, and training skilled team members.
- Guides team members in their daily tasks to meet departmental goals effectively.
- Oversees business operations such as appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and charge entry to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyzes operational reports and collaborates with leadership to track key performance indicators, ensuring optimal inventory and adherence to strategic plans.
- Manages site operations within budgetary constraints, ensuring compliance with financial protocols and cash management standards.
- Engages and develops the workforce by supervising, hiring, training, and evaluating non-clinical staff, while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Prioritizes and assigns tasks to optimize service delivery and promotes a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Facilitates communication between staff, physicians, and stakeholders to enhance team dynamics and operational effectiveness.
- Ensures a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Maintains adherence to Corporate Compliance Programs and ensures compliance with billing, coding, and documentation standards.
- Performs additional duties as required, ensuring all responsibilities are essential functions of the role.
Associate's Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience is required.
Salary Information
The salary range for this position is $58,500-$75,012/year. This range is a good faith estimate of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant.
