Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Welding Manager to join our team, who will lead our welding team and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet or exceed industry standards.

About the Role
The Aerospace Welding Manager will lead a team of welders, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all welding activities meet or exceed customer specifications and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading a team of welders to ensure high-quality manufacturing processes.
  • Maintaining compliance with Nadcap certification requirements, AWS D17.1, D17.2, Mil specs, and other relevant standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and quality enhancements in welding operations.
  • Overseeing quality control measures to ensure that all welded components meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the welding team.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in resistance welding, orbital welding, fusion welding, and brazing.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a welding or fabrication setting.
  • Strong understanding of Nadcap certification requirements, AWS D17.1, D17.2, Mil specifications, and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification(s) in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welding Inspector) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields is a plus.

What We Offer
