We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Communication Center Communicator to join our team at UAB Health System. As a Trauma Communication Center Communicator, you will play a critical role in linking emergency medical services personnel, trauma, stroke, and STEMI hospitals, aeromedical, and the EMS system to provide seamless patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Record and retrieve trauma system data for quality improvement purposes
  • Communicate hospital divert status and assist with mass casualty incident patient destinations
  • Assist emergency medical services personnel with online medical direction coordination
  • Provide services statewide as needed

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Currently licensed and in good standing as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certified as paramedic
  • Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
