Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Risk Engineer is responsible for formulating and implementing risk mitigation strategies and services designed to safeguard the organization's global assets and interests, which encompass personnel data, operational information, brand integrity, intellectual property (IP), networks, systems, and applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting ongoing assessments of activities, systems, and applications to identify vulnerabilities that may pose risks to security.
  • Aligning security resources with identified risks on a continuous basis.
  • Collaborating with law enforcement, governmental security agencies, industry organizations, and relevant stakeholders to gather intelligence related to the security of the organization's assets.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Risk Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, self-motivated, results-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in one of the following:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
  • Certified Security Analyst (CSA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Software Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
