Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is in search of an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to spearhead a dedicated team focused on implementing risk management strategies for our diverse portfolio of on-premise, vendor, and cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading Information System Security Officers (ISSO): Directing efforts to achieve IT security objectives and mitigate overall organizational risk.
  • Managing the Risk Management Framework (RMF): Supporting the execution and oversight of the House RMF while guiding ISSOs on the application of cybersecurity policies.
  • Advising Senior Management: Assisting in the formulation and interpretation of information assurance guidelines and providing insights on risk levels and security posture.
  • Conducting Risk Assessments: Participating in security assessments and ensuring remediation plans are established for identified vulnerabilities.
  • Quality Assurance Reviews: Evaluating cybersecurity deliverables to maintain consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Providing Technical Guidance: Offering procedural advice to the risk management team and ensuring compliance with established security controls.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity risk management.
  • Proven experience in managing security assessments and reviewing documentation for system security authorization.
  • Strong familiarity with NIST publications and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Technical proficiency in operating systems, network technologies, and security tools.
  • Understanding of cloud service models and mobile security technologies.
  • Knowledge of management, operational, and technical cybersecurity principles.

This role is critical in enhancing the security posture of BTI and ensuring the integrity of our information systems.
