About the Role

Sentry is seeking a highly skilled Claims Appraiser Senior to join our team. As a Claims Appraiser Senior, you will be responsible for evaluating claims, reviewing repair estimates, and negotiating claims to a fair and equitable conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Claims: Assess the extent of damage to vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Review Repair Estimates: Analyze repair estimates from repair facilities and vendors to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Negotiate Claims: Work with policyholders, claimants, and State Insurance Departments to resolve claims and negotiate settlements.
  • Monitor Rental Expenses: Manage the repair process to minimize rental expenses.
  • Develop Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with repair facilities and vendors to ensure accurate and economical repairs.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or Equivalent: A degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in claims adjusting or a related field.
  • State Adjuster/Apraiser Licenses: Ability to obtain and maintain state adjuster/appraiser licenses.
  • Knowledge of Claim Processing: Thorough knowledge of claim processing and insurance coverage.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
