The Rehab Center of Albuquerque - Albuquerque, NM is seeking a skilled Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit. Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage and provide safe care to our patients
* Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans to achieve positive clinical outcomes and minimize rehospitalizations
* Mentor and educate nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
* Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with Genesis policy
* Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay current with industry developments

Requirements:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Associate Degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience
* Nursing Diploma, three years of nursing experience
* BSN, two years of nursing experience
* At least one year of nurse leadership experience required
* Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state
* Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
