PCSI is seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center at Ft. Belvoir in Alexandria. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of patient care areas, offices, and bathrooms.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in assigned areas
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including mops, brooms, and vacuums
- Strip and refinish floors as needed
- Conduct daily inspections to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues
- Collaborate with the Floor Crew Lead to ensure seamless communication and task completion
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of experience in a related field, such as housekeeping or custodial services
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push objects up to 100 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
