Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care problems and deviations in accordance with VA Nursing Practice and LPN licensure standards.
  • Maintain knowledge and skill to care for a wide range of patients, including those with chronic and acute illness.
  • Triage, record, and report vital signs, weight, and blood glucose levels.
  • Appropriately prioritize patient needs as routine, urgent, or emergent in the clinical setting and contribute to the Veteran's patient care/treatment as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to promptly recognize and effectively intervene in potentially urgent or emergent situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State, agency, and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
  • Full, active, current and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia.
  • English Language Proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of PACT experience preferred.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
