Job Summary

The Field Training Officer provides critical support to Pre-hospital care staff, ensuring they receive the necessary training and education to deliver high-quality care. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical protocols and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve Pre-hospital care skills
  • Assess call situations to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care

  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene management as needed
Requirements
  • Current Paramedic Certification
  • Current ACLS Card
  • Current Driver's License
  • Instructor Certification in one of the following (ACLS, PLAS, or BTLS)
Working Conditions and Mental/Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional exposure to hazardous materials. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions is essential.
