Field Project Manager for Insurance Claims Operations

The Field Project Manager plays a crucial role in maximizing the success and performance of their assigned areas, overseeing project scope changes, schedules, costs, and life cycles. They are responsible for managing project life cycles and schedules from start to finish, tracking and directing field activities for subcontractors and third-party vendors, obtaining necessary permits and equipment, and ensuring quality control inspections are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Manage clients and vendors in assigned areas, identifying deficiencies and implementing improvements.
- Meet with assigned area managers weekly to discuss market status, needs, and goals.
- Monitor market performance and goals on a weekly basis to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Assist in implementing action plans for new clients and provide management with field-related activity updates and reports.
- Negotiate and establish best pricing and rates with local vendors, identifying local pricing adjustments and communicating updates to market/department leaders.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on vendor conditions in each market, when applicable, and complete additional duties as a handyman/maintenance tech as required.
- Improve and maintain product specifications, upselling to clients/customers where applicable, and assist in resolving field-related disputes with vendors in a professional manner.
- Bachelor's Degree in construction management or related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in home rehab and multi-unit facilities.
- Residential construction management experience, with residential restoration experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license, experience with estimating, project scheduling, and rehab project life cycle, and knowledge of construction practices and labor costs.
- Solid understanding of local, state, and federal building code and safety standards requirements, and knowledge of flooring, appliances, landscaping, roofing, general repairs/rehab, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Experience with insurance claims preferred, but not required, and experience with Xactimate, Symbility, Eagleview desirable.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and G-Suites (Google), ability to manage a minimum of 10 properties at a time, and ability to work weekends as necessary.
- Able to work efficiently, independently, and multi-task, with bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
The job is performed with a significant amount of time on construction sites, often outdoors with busy and noisy environments, and various weather conditions. Some time is spent in a home office setting sitting for an extended period of time, with regular travel between different construction sites or between home office and construction sites with use of automobile.
