Key Responsibilities:
  • System Support: Provide comprehensive support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, and installations. Engage in collaborative work sessions for system support and issue resolution.
  • Installation and Configuration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and administration of applications. Address moderate to complex system performance issues and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Problem Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot issues, implementing corrective actions when feasible. Communicate with on-call personnel to rectify abnormal application terminations.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor system performance in real-time and through reports, ensuring all scheduled applications execute successfully. Review and resolve any abnormal results from production processing.
  • Environment Verification: Ensure that both Production and Test environments are operational. Conduct testing as necessary and maintain documentation for accuracy and future reference.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance sessions for production implementations, releases, and disaster recovery exercises. Attend meetings to assess the impact on system availability and resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and cycles. Develop automation programs for the release process where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in data storage techniques, database management, and programming methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of production system maintenance and the implications of program modifications.
  • Familiarity with structured techniques in program development.
  • Solid grasp of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Technical Proficiencies:

Extensive knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development tools utilized within the organization.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.


Experience:

A minimum of four years of technical experience in systems analysis, design, or programming is essential.


Shift Requirements:

Early morning shifts starting around 4:30 AM Central, with an expected duration of 8-9 hours. Occasional nights and weekends may be required for off-hours production implementations.


Compensation:

The anticipated pay range for this position is between $35.00 and $43.00 per hour.
