About the Role
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate production, packaging, and shipping departments to ensure efficient operations and meet customer demands.
  • Ensure compliance and improvements in safety, health, and environmental aspects to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain quality control of products to meet customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Prioritize and prepare production schedules and communicate production goals and results to stakeholders.
  • Analyze equipment efficiency, materials supply, and coordinate manpower requirements to optimize production processes.
  • Manage, train, and supervise shift leads and operations personnel to ensure effective team performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure employee engagement and communication to produce business results and drive company success.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee safety training programs and job-specific training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collect, verify, and report daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory data to inform business decisions.
  • Schedule production and indirect personnel as directed by the Plant Manager to ensure efficient operations.
  • Track and report vacation and attendance to maintain accurate records.
  • Acquire and report daily, weekly, and monthly environmental data (water and air quality) to monitor company performance.
  • Oversee corrective action policies and procedures and employee performance evaluations to ensure fair and consistent treatment.
  • Support recruiting efforts and evaluate potential employees to ensure a strong and diverse team.
Inspections, Safety, and Maintenance
  • Ensure safe operation of the facility and coordinate the Lignetics Safety Program to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient plant operations and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control SOP policies and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Management or related field.
  • 35 years of related supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and forward-thinking skills to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills to inspire and engage employees.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels.
