Production Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our dairy manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet business demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and safety standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to drive operational excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key production metrics, taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in production management, team leadership, GMPs, SOPs, and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve excellent performance and meet production goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective operational improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
