The Logistics and Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Site Logistics Coordinator and other designated supervisors in executing essential maintenance tasks to uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. This position involves performing both corrective and preventive maintenance activities while assisting in the handling, storage, and preservation of equipment at various sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Duties:
    Conduct general maintenance and site upkeep to prevent failures and HSE concerns. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, handle emergency repairs, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Material Management:
    Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of all materials. Oversee the handling of freight and ensure proper storage of hazardous substances.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with team members and supervisors to resolve issues, assist in cleaning and preparation activities, and support various maintenance and material handling tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift certification and other relevant material handling equipment certifications are preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and address potential hazards.
