Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify stock items, ensuring accurate data entry either manually or through computerized systems.
- Efficiently pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms, warehouses, or designated storage areas.
- Conduct inventory audits by comparing physical counts of stock with recorded data, addressing any discrepancies or errors as necessary.
- Organize and store items systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply areas.
- Label stock items appropriately using identification tags, stamps, or electronic marking tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and storage spaces to comply with safety standards.
- Document the usage and condition of stock or stock handling equipment.
- Inspect stock items for damage or defects, reporting any issues to management.
- Assist and guide other warehouse personnel in their tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A collaborative team player with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant equipment, policies, and procedures that enhance effective security operations.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
