Job Title: Senior Practice Assistant Pain Prior Auth

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage prior authorizations for pain management services, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve authorization issues and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and authorization status.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay current with changing insurance policies, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in prior authorization or medical records management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and insurance provider portals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
