Job Title: Senior Practice Assistant

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the practice team, including scheduling, registration, and billing.
  • Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, clinicians, and staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in indirect patient care, consistent with education and experience.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to other Check-In/Check-Out staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, as directed by the Practice Manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of medical office or administrative support experience.
  • Associate's degree or higher, with a focus on healthcare or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and judgment skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in all applicable applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
