- Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a high level of knowledge on food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain all department equipment, reporting any malfunctions to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Communication and Teamwork: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and collaboration among staff.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience cooking in a high-quality restaurant or full-service hotel/resort.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively supervise staff.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role is preferred.
